          COMPANY DESCRIPTION

            Sevee & Maher Engineers, Inc. (SME) was incorporated in 1985 and currently employs approximately forty personnel. From inception SME  has grown to provide many hydrogeologic, engineering and infrastructure related services.  SME was initially formed to provide hydrogeologic and civil engineering services related to solid waste landfills.  Early on, SME's services expanded to include subsurface investigations, engineering, and design services related to soil and groundwater contamination and remediation at hazardous waste sites.  In the late 1980s SME expanded into water supply work, when we began a relationship with the largest water utility in the United States.  This relationship continues today in New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, where we provide various water supply and water resource related engineering services.  Our business efforts focus on utilizing our       hydrogeologic and engineering expertise to meet our clients' needs.

 

          COMPANY FOCUS

            SME has provided water resource, wastewater, civil, landfill, groundwater, and hazardous waste engineering services to public and private sector clients in Maine, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Massachusetts, California, New Jersey, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, and Connecticut.  Services for these projects have included: development of municipal, agricultural, and industrial water supplies; redevelopment of a 2,000-acre institutional facility into a multi-use business park with one of the largest onsite wastewater disposal systems in the state; design and construction oversight of 21,000 feet of water main, landfill siting, design and operation; remediation of sites containing PCBs and chlorinated solvents;.  Our staff's expertise in these areas provides for both timely and cost-effective solutions.
